I went for YCKC Youth Camp 08' on Sunday and just came back. It was my first time attending youth camp and honestly, I did not want to go as I still have a pile of homework waiting for me at home and my spiritual life wasn't very good. To me, Church was just always a Sunday thing. Go to Church, worship, then come home and forget everything.
I've always been finding excuses to put God aside. But coming to this camp really changed my life. Learning more about Christ and experiencing His love for us opened my heart to Him and really welcome Him into my heart, into my life.
On the first night when the leaders washed our feet like how Jesus did for his disciples, reminded me of God's love for us. During that period, I was feeling really down. Life kinda sucked.
And being able to experience His love when I felt I was worthless touched me and encouraged me. And I began to ask myself "Why does God love me?" Why? I was a sinner and yet He died on the cross for our sins. Because He loved us.
I was confused and having mixed feelings. I just broke down and cried. I went to my bunk and sat there. Just sorting out my thoughts.
The next day, Sarah talked to me and helped me. That was when I decided to accept Christ.
And I'm really glad and thankful.
I want to thank God for coming into my Heart, reminding us of His great love. Giving me courage to make that step of faith. And that
'Never will He leave us,
Never will He forsake us.'
I want to ask God to lead me and guide me through this new journey with Him.

its the end of the holidays in a week and I have not done most of my homework. I hate me being not able to manage my time and procrastinating on everything. Its definitely something I NEED to change about myself.
Worse still, Mum found out about this matter and gave me a dressing down.
I'm running out of time and fast! What's more, I'm leaving for Youth Camp tomorrow! How am I going to concentrate on God when I have a pile of homework waiting for me at home?
Regrets.
It is my own fault that all this is happening.
I have a feeling that the following week will not be pleasent.

damn it. I was on my way home after buying lunch today when just as I steped onto the pavement, i got hit by a bicycle and my lucnch went flying. That freakkking idiotic boy. I should have shouted at him. five bucks got wasted just like that. The boy just cycled off. damn him. Had to borrow a phone from someone to call sis.
I got cuts on both my knees, elbow and foot. damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn

a bird invaded the balcony today. i think it was imjured or something as it refused to fly away no matter how we provoke it. in the end, mum and dad had to catch it and throw the bird out. what a scene! hope it doesn't come back. some of my drawing in my notebook.

hooray!!! mum bought me book 5 of CoaD. I've been waiting for it for like... 1 year!! So envious of other countries that get it first. They already got the 6th book! Also got Eldest. sequel to Eragon. Its been 2 years since I read that book. I'll have to re-read it to freshen my memory. more reading!!
It really sucks that I still haven't started on any of my holiday homework yet. shucks. AND I'm still hoping there's time left for hanging out with my friends. the long wait of three weeks is finally over! yet there's this weird feeling that replaces it. its no longer the same as before...
